'The fashion might be a little bit more daring!' Sonia Kruger predicts some VERY racy red carpet looks when the Logies moves from Melbourne to the Gold Coast this year

The Logie Awards has spent almost every year in Melbourne.

But on July 1st, the ceremony will relocate to the Gold Coast as part of a four-year deal with the Queensland Government.

The move is expected to shake up the show in more ways than one, with Sonia Kruger predicting that the shift to a warmer city will result in a racier red carpet.

Dare to bare? Earlier this week, Sonia made a prediction about the fashion at the Logie Awards, now the ceremony will relocate to the Gold Coast as part of a four-year deal with the Queensland Government

The blonde beauty also said that she believes the 'parties will be huge' on the Gold Coast.

The Logies has been held at Melbourne's Crown Towers every year since 1997.

While Sonia is clearly excited to see the awards ceremony change location, not every industry figure is quite as keen.
