All consolidated religions, in their area of influence, have tried to impose the idea that their religious principles “They are the truth”. And this has led to most occasions, if not, great conflicts that still lasts today. And when national and international media do not take into account these historical basic principles, the information given to us as current citizens is futile.

For example, in the Iran-EE.U conflict. We are spoken from European levels of the emergence of American power in the conflict between Iran and Israel, without permanent focusing in which the country of the Ayatolas is a theocratic nation, from which it is permanently intended to destroy the Jewish state and kill to the last of its citizens; but that also wants the same for the United States and its people. With such a state, you always have to be permanently alert. In addition, in this conflict of letting diplomacy work, but without entering into a pharragosa explanation, it should be clarified that the basic principle of diplomacy is the understanding between equals. But, what happens when one of the parties is in moral superiority due to their relationship with “God”, whatever his name. Without forgetting that in Iran, the only religion or belief accepted by the regime is the radical Islam dictated by “spiritual” leaders.

I have always maintained that somewhere in the world, the beliefs that anyone professionals are surely cataloged as “dangerous” or “false”, and you as a member belonging to a “destructive sect.”

To give an example, on April 1, 2025, the State Administration of Religious Affairs of China, published its order No. 23, where it was specified that the only legal religious activities in that immense country are those that are managed from the five authorized general confessions: Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Protestantism and Catholicism. Any other religious creed would be qualified as false and its members turned into dangerous and imprisoned sectarian, which in China can lead to the loss of all human and civil rights that the citizen of the day could possess.

Many other groups have been persecuted since their beginnings when they have moved from their comfort zone to less friendly areas. In the case of Jehovah’s Witnesses, for example, they ended up in Nazi extermination fields in World War II and in the case of Spain, until democracy, their members imprisoned by the most diverse causes, and especially for declaring themselves openly objected to consciousness. Interestingly, Jehovah’s Witnesses consider all the citizens of the world who do not believe in their way of interpreting the Bible as “children of the devil” already have these the religion they have.

The vast majority of Muslim countries consider the United States as the “Great Satan” and therefore any conflict or terrorism action that is carried out against these or their allies (West) is considered within the Demential Argot that they profess as “Holy War.”

Without going any further, Scientology and all its members, until a few years ago they were considered a destructive sect of enormous influence in various areas of Europe and even today in some parts thereof are still considered dangerous. For many German Protestant movements, the Catholic Church of Rome, is possessed by Satan and describes it as destructive. The Bahais are a religion that was born in the heart of Iran today is proscribed and its members are arrested and put in jail if their religious ideology is discovered. And so it could be filling entire pages, also taking into account that this radical attitude is not only given in exotic places or countries considered third world, see Africa, India or others, but that it can be given in the very heart of Europe, remember the Balkan War or the Irish conflict between Catholics and Protestants.

A religious idea, philosophical thinking or belief, can be taken as destructive anywhere in the world, remember. Therefore, the lists of sectarian movements, which are still built, are not only completely unnecessary, but as anachronistic as those who do them.

With all the above. I only intend to conclude, and I know it is a conclusion not shared, that in reality the “destructive sects” do not exist. There are sectarian behaviors. That is, that of those members who wish to impose their actions by force to others, manipulating them with all the elements that the power grants.

Some will use, if they are held, all elements at their disposal: armies, media, etc. Others, depending on their claims, will act against their followers if they have stopped being faithful, killing them on many occasions. And others will be radicalized by committing atrocities against others, entering churches and killing faithful who pray, as has happened a few days ago in Damascus, thus turning the dogmatic imposition of their ideas into terrorist acts.

A pity that in many societies the court is continued to sinister characters, professional opinioners who leave in the media only to get five minutes of fame and thus confuse public opinion. The lack of analysis of these issues, from a historical perspective makes us continue anchored at the end of the 20th century still; and even infesting the media gatherings of false data and with little criteria.
