According to the Informe Pastran bulletin, which cites a report from the Ministry of Development, Industry, and Commerce, arranged by the General Directorate of Foreign Trade, the increase is driven by key sectors such as raw gold and green coffee.
The source highlighted that exports under the general administration totaled $2.224 billions, a notable increase of 20.68 percent equal to 2024, while free trade zones reached $1.342 billion.
It explained that raw gold led total exports with $724.67 millions, an increase of 33.07 percent compared to 2024, representing 20.32 percent of the total exported abroad.
According to the report, raw coffee followed, with $475.10 millions, a growth of 68.38 percent and a 13.32 percent share.
In addition, other products such as beef ($355.61 million) and clothing ($700.84 millions) stood out.
As on agricultural goods exports, which totaled $1.539 billion, mounted to 13.43 percent more than last year, contributing with $43.16 millions to total exports.
The information specified that, globally, agricultural goods grew 17.52 percent to $1.339 billion, while in free trade zones they decreased 8.04 percent ($199.78 million).
Along these lines, it was informed that products such as cocoa beans and red beans also showed positive performance.
